While at Ami and Sam's place (while I was on vacation), the kittens got their first real up-close experience with water - they were very interested (as most bengals are)! This has continued to the point where Starbuck will jump in the bathtub while the tap is running and Torrey will jump up onto the top of the tub (and sometimes jump in), although they both don't like getting their paws wet.... yet!!! With Sebastian I used a squirt gun when he was a kitten to discourage bad behaviour - doesn't work with kittens who love water!!!

Looks like fun! Same with T&U, the sound of running water attracts them but they aren't into getting into "deeper" water. Running water, that is just plain fun!
You got it! I've started to fill the tub with an inch or two of water and gently lower the boys into it with a few toys and they are 'tolerant' for a few minutes, but then they're out and licking their paws! Today Starbuck actually gingerly slid into the bath with the water in it but was content to get the toy and leave again. He then walked around the outside of the tub with the toy! So, as far as they are concerned, taps are fun, bathtubs with water are not! I'm happy with the boys simply 'not being afraid' of water so that if I need to wash them it's no big deal. So far so good *grin*.
